CISA released the Eviction Strategies Tool, a no-cost open-source incident-response resource that helps defenders build tailored eviction plans for compromised systems and networks. Developed with MITRE, the tool combines COUN7ER and Cyber Eviction Strategies Playbook NextGen to map incident findings to countermeasures and speed response planning. It matters because it gives public and private sector teams a structured way to contain and evict adversaries in minutes rather than assembling playbooks manually.
