    Microsoft confirmed that some Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems are experiencing severe stuttering, lag, and choppy audio/video in NDI streaming after the August 2025 security updates, with OBS and NDI Tools affected especially when Display Capture is enabled. The NDI team said the problem drops NDI traffic unexpectedly on RUDP connections while UDP and Single-TCP remain unaffected, and advised changing NDI Receive Mode to TCP or UDP as a temporary workaround.
