ParkMobile's 2021 data leak exposed customer records for almost 22 million users, making the breach a large-scale privacy and account-security event. Attackers stole the data and then posted the full database on a hacking forum, allowing anyone to download it. The leaked 4.5 GB CSV included email addresses, usernames, bcrypt-hashed passwords, mailing addresses, and license plate numbers. The exposure matters because it combined login, contact, and vehicle information tied to a very large customer base.
