Initial DisclosureX is requiring users who use passkeys or hardware security keys like Yubikeys for 2FA to re-enroll their security key by November 10, 2025 so existing bindings can move from twitter[.]com to x[.]com. Users who do not complete re-enrollment will have their account locked until they re-enroll, choose a different 2FA method, or stop using 2FA, and the change does not apply to authenticator-app 2FA.
