Mozilla ends Onerep partnership and retires Monitor Plus

Mozilla said it will discontinue Monitor Plus and end its Onerep partnership, removing a Firefox-integrated privacy service used for data broker site scans and personal data removal. Current subscribers keep access until Dec. 17, 2025, after which Mozilla will issue prorated refunds. The free Monitor breach service remains available in Firefox.

Mozilla announces Onerep exit and Monitor Plus wind-down
Initial DisclosureMozilla said it will end its partnership with Onerep and discontinue Monitor Plus, the Firefox-connected service for data broker site scans and automated personal data removal. The free Monitor data breach service will remain available inside Firefox’s credential manager, and Mozilla said it is working to bring more privacy and security features, including its VPN, into Firefox for free.

Monitor Plus access ends and refunds start on Dec. 17, 2025
Victim Impact UpdateCurrent Monitor Plus subscribers keep full access through Dec. 17, 2025, which is the end of the wind-down period for the Firefox-integrated service. After that day, Mozilla will automatically issue prorated refunds for the unused portion of each subscription.
