Harvard University said its Alumni Affairs and Development systems were compromised in a voice phishing attack, exposing personal information for students, alumni, donors, staff, and faculty. The exposed records included email addresses, telephone numbers, home and business addresses, event attendance records, donation details, and biographical information tied to fundraising and alumni engagement. Harvard said the affected systems did not contain Social Security numbers, passwords, payment card information, or other financial data. The university removed the attacker's access, is working with law enforcement and third-party cybersecurity experts, and sent breach notices on November 22.
