Europol and Swiss and German law enforcement took down the illegal crypto mixer Cryptomixer, disrupting a service used to launder funds for cybercrime and money laundering. The operation seized €25m ($30m) in Bitcoin, three servers, and the cryptomixer.io domain in Zurich, Switzerland, between November 24 and 28, 2025. The shutdown matters because the service had obscured blockchain traceability for ransomware groups and other criminal networks.
