Stryzhak pleads guilty in Nefilim case
Initial DisclosureArtem Aleksandrovych Stryzhak, a Ukrainian national extradited from Barcelona after a June 2024 arrest, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit computer fraud for using Nefilim ransomware against corporate victims in the US and elsewhere. Prosecutors said he became a Nefilim affiliate in June 2021, was encouraged to target companies with $200m+ in annual revenue, and faces sentencing in May 2026 and up to 10 years in prison.
