US and UK CISOs report slower endpoint recovery and million-dollar breach costs

A survey of 750 CISOs in the US and UK shows that endpoint recovery after serious cyber incidents is now a costly multi-day business risk. Over the past 12 months, 55% said a cyber-attack, ransomware infection, compromise, or breach took endpoint devices out of action, and most affected firms needed 3-6 days or 7-14 days to restore operations. The same data shows 98% spent $1m-$5m to recover and cyber-resilience strategy adoption fell sharply year over year.
