Prosecutors said Avalyan and co-conspirators ran vendor accounts such as JoyInc, PlanetHollywood, and LaFarmacia from September 2018 to February 2025, used darknet marketplaces and cryptocurrency, and shipped drugs from Los Angeles County and other locations. The FBI's JCODE led the investigation with support from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Drug Enforcement Administration, IRS Criminal Investigation, and the Los Angeles Police Department.
