    Bitwarden announced support for logging into Windows 11 devices using passkeys stored in the Bitwarden encrypted vault, enabling passwordless authentication with cryptographic credentials instead of passwords. The feature is available for all plans, including the free tier, uses a security key option with QR code confirmation on a mobile device, and requires Entra ID–joined devices, FIDO2 security key sign-in, and a registered Entra ID passkey; Microsoft said passkey login on Windows will roll out this month and extends a Windows 11 passkey provider API introduced in November 2025.
