Google Gmail now offers end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for enterprise users on Android and iOS, adding a concrete privacy control for mobile email. The rollout matters because users can now read and compose encrypted messages natively in Gmail while organizations keep tighter control over sensitive communications. Access is tied to Google Workspace enterprise licensing and admin-enabled client-side encryption (CSE).
