    Spur examined smart TV apps and found that more than 42 percent of apps available for download on LG smart TVs included SDKs that turn a television into a proxy node indefinitely, while more than a quarter of the apps made for Samsung's Tizen operating system had similar residential proxy components. Spur also said the SDKs were bundled with games, screensavers, and file utilities, and that Bright Data accounted for a majority of proxy SDKs across LG and Samsung smart TVs.
