    UK police led by the National Crime Agency and City of London Police disclosed Operation Henhouse 5 results showing 557 arrests, 172 voluntary interviews, 249 cease-and-desist notices, account freezing orders covering £9m, and seizures of cash and assets worth £18.1m. Every UK police force and Regional Organised Crime Unit took part alongside the Serious Fraud Office, National Trading Standards, and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), while the City of London Police’s Intellectual Property Crime Unit arrested eight people and froze £537,000 and Merseyside Police seized £1.1m in suspected proceeds of crime. Officers also identified six fraud call centers based abroad, blocked 283 numbers and 6.5 million calls, and estimated £2.1m in economic savings.
